Metravise

What it's for

My Portfolio lets you record your own transactions and follow your performance next to the Metravise Portfolio. There are four transaction types: Buy, Sell, Deposit and Withdrawal.

How to use it

  1. If you're just starting, use “Add funds” to enter the amount you've set aside for investing — or use “Already own stocks? Add them directly”.
  2. Press “Add transaction”, choose Buy or Sell, and search for the stock.
  3. Enter the number of shares and the date. The price fills in from that day's close; change it if you need to.
  4. If you don't have enough cash, tick “Automatically add the funds needed for this purchase”, then press “Save”.
  5. To take money out, use “Withdraw funds”.

Good to know

  • From a position row you can use “Add shares”, “Record sale” or “Close position” as shortcuts.
  • Edit or delete records from the position window or from History → My Portfolio.
  • A sale can't exceed the shares you hold, and a purchase can't exceed your cash on that date. Same-day transactions are applied in the order you entered them.
