What it's for
When a stock splits, past prices and returns are adjusted for it, so you won't see sudden artificial jumps in charts.
Good to know
- In the Metravise Portfolio, a split is applied by rescaling shares and prices together; cost and return don't change.
- In My Portfolio, splits are reflected automatically. Splits in My Portfolio
- A daily change that looks wrong isn't used in lists until it has been verified.
