What it's for
Metravise has two kinds of data: live prices that update during the day, and end-of-day data that's refreshed in a batch every night.
- Live prices
- Updated every minute during the session and delayed by 15 minutes. They're used for “today” in a stock's header, the Dashboard, Today's Movers, alerts and portfolio values.
- End-of-day data
- Explore, Compare, Sectors, financials and performance tables are based on the previous close and refreshed every night; each page shows which close it uses.
- Quality Score
- Recalculated once a week.
- Hedging demand
- Based on the previous trading day.
Good to know
- Outside the session, live prices stay at the last close.
- Oil and gold also update outside the session; oil is about 10 minutes delayed and gold a few minutes.
