What it's for
When a stock splits, the shares and prices in My Portfolio are adjusted automatically — there's nothing you need to do.
How to use it
- For transactions before the split, shares are multiplied by the split ratio and prices divided by it, so your cost stays the same.
- Your position, average cost, P&L and return chart all use these adjusted figures.
- Transaction lists still show each transaction exactly as you entered it.
Good to know
- A stock that stops trading is marked “Not trading”. Its value is taken from the last close, and you can only record sales.
- You'll get a “Corporate actions” notification for events such as splits and delistings. Notification types
