What it's for

The Quality Score comes from looking at seven criteria together. Each one looks at a different side of the company:

Profitability
Measures how much profit the company makes from its sales.
Balance sheet
Measures the debt load and short-term ability to pay.
Value–growth–momentum balance
Summarizes how the stock's value, growth and momentum traits look together.
Earnings estimate changes
Shows whether analysts raised or cut profit estimates in recent weeks.
Valuation
Compares the price against earnings, sales and book value with its industry.
Industry strength
Reflects the overall picture of the company's industry.
Price momentum
Measures the strength of recent price moves.

Good to know

  • The Quality tab on a stock page shows how each criterion looks, with the stock's strongest and weakest criterion marked.
  • No single criterion decides the score — it reflects all seven together.
