What it's for
You can change your password under Settings → Security, or reset it with the link on the sign-in page if you've forgotten it. If you sign in with Google, you can also set a password if you'd like.
How to use it
- To change it: under Settings → Security, enter your current password, type your new password twice, then press “Update password”.
- If “Sign out of other devices” is ticked, you stay signed in here but must sign in again elsewhere.
- If you've forgotten it: press “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page and enter your email address, then use the link we send to choose a new password. The link is valid for 1 hour and works once.
- If you sign in with Google: press “Set a password” under Settings → Security; signing in with Google keeps working as before.
Good to know
- Passwords need at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number, and mustn't contain your email name.
- We send a confirmation email after every password change. When a password is reset, you're signed out on all devices for your security.
- If you didn't do this, contact us right away.
